Thursday
Mood:  hungry
Breakfast: McDonald's cheeseburger and apple dippers (apples and caramel..I didn't finish the caramel)

Lunch: Tokyo wako..had teriyaki chicken, vegetables and miso soup. I didn't eat the rice. I ate all the vegies which was amazing for me. I keep thinking I'm hungry but I think it's because I didn't eat the rice. My brain is telling me I'm hungry but I don't think I am.

Snack: 3 pieces of cheese and 6 whole wheat ritz crackers

Dinner: shake

snack: fudge pop

workout: strength training. 45 mins. focused mainly on back with some abs and arm work too

breakfast: banana and crunchy peanut butter
lunch: teriyaki chicken bowl (left 1/4 of rice)
dinner: sandwhich, chips

workout:
so I wasn't able to go to the gym and I had read this new walking regimen in health magazine you can use on your treadmill. I thought I'd try it out. It's supposed to be 45 mins...I ended up stopping at 26 mins and cooldown for 4 mins. It was soo hard! I hadn't sweated like that in such a long time! It was the incline that killed me.

Tuesday
Mood:  happy
For breakfast I had a shake. Lunch I had kids meal at ikea of meatballs with frenchfries. snack was light popcorn and water (went to the movies..took my own popcorn in a small ziploc bag and my own water). I went with Grisel and she wanted a donut after. I got 3 donut holes and a coffee. For dinner we went to Follieros. I had a blue cheese salad and 1 slice of pineapple pizza (small pizza) with no cheese.

Since I went to the movies I wasn't able to go to my kickboxing class. After dinner Elisa and I went bike riding. I did about 1 hour of strength training too. I worked on abs, back, and arms. I decided I'm going to do strength training on tuesdays, thursdays, and sundays.

I started off well again. I had a shake for breakfast, kids meal from claim jumpers (chicken tenders/fries)..I didnt eat all of it, dinner a shake.

I did aerobics 2 at the ymca.

My First Weekend
Mood:  lazy

Friday:

shake for breakfast, sandwhich/chips/melon for lunch, suchi/teriyaki beef for dinner.

workout - step aerobics 2

Saturday:

shake for breakfast, shake for lunch, dumplings/noodles for dinner,

workout- tae bo

I drank liquor at night but I danced for hours, literally.

Sunday:

1 egg/1 wheat toast for breakfast, 1 spicy link for lunch (went to the dodger game), 2 pieces pizza, 2 chicken wings, 4 mojo's (went to shakey's) for dinner. 1 taco late at night (was going to go dancing but Elisa couldn't get in).

I didn't work out today because due to dancing for hours the previous night with pointy heels, I messed up my toes. I couldn't even move them when I woke up. It was pretty much like that the rest of the day and today still kind of hurts.

I know my weekends don't sound too good nutritionally but that is the plan I used to have. I eat really good Mon-Thurs and I have more room weekends. I still am very conscious of what I'm eating.

First Entry

so this is my first entry in this blog...so this week I have been really good. Since Saturday I have been working out every day for at least an hour. Saturday and Sunday I did tae-bo (thanks to cathy for the dvd). Monday I did step aerobics, Tuesday kickboxing, Wednesday step aerobics and today I'm going to try Pilate's in a couple of hours.

Eating always seems to be my biggest challenge. I was talking to my friend Alonso and he was telling me about how he has been substituting his meals for shakes except for lunch..so I decided to do that. I started on Monday. I have a shake for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and shake. This is all done in approximate 2 hr space (ex. breakfast at 8, snack at 10).

This seems to be working out for me so far. Yesterday I almost had a breakdown but I was able to control it. I'm scared of this weekend cause I am going to drink on Saturday. I need to do more research to find out what I can drink without it making a big damp in my efforts.

after pilates:
it was really hard but I think I felt that way because it was my first time. I weighed myself for the first time after pilates class. I'm going to start doing it every week after pilates so it can stay somewhat accurate.
